I often get asked for recommendations for books, podcasts, or other resources so I decided to put them all in one place that’s easy to share. These resources are ones that I have found value in at different points in my life. Some are resources I still reference and revisit regularly.
If you don’t love one resource, try another. If you have a category or certain resources aren’t ones you would normally pick, give something new a chance. We are better able to navigate all of life’s choices when we have a broad base of knowledge and wisdom to pull from and that includes perspectives and experiences we don’t/can’t have.
If you only pick one resource consider Think Again by Adam Grant. It will help you move from resistance to new ideas and concepts to how you can effectively unlearn and relearn as you take in new information. This skill is critical to getting unstuck and pursuing the life you want to live.
Many of these resources are available on multiple platforms (e.g. podcast, YouTube, social media channels, website, etc.) so if you have preferred ways of consuming information you can check to see where these resources are available. I hope you find something that supports you on your journey here.
If you’d like to support my business while you shop I am a Bookshop.org affiliate. (I will make 10% on the books you purchase.) Bookshop.org supports independent bookstores while you shop. Details about their model here. All of my book recommendations will be housed on Bookshop.org for ease in keeping things updated and as a way to support my business and independent bookshops.

I recommend using the Libby App for books, audiobooks, magazines, and more all from your local library. Supporting your local library ensures that resources are available for people who can’t afford to buy books. Additionally libraries provide safe spaces for kids after school, for job seekers to access computers, and for community members to gather together.
If you want to purchase books to support the author consider Libro.fm for audiobooks as they support independent bookstores with each purchase. You can also search for local bookstores in your area or use my Bookshop.org affiliate link which supports my business and independent bookshops.
Why Astrology?
For those curious why I’d layer astrology into my work I wanted to include a few resources here along with information about the program I am certifying through.
For me, astrology is more than the horoscopes you can read online or that used to get published in teen magazines or the newspaper. Astrology, particularly the Bodhi Yoga Soul Weather Pro™ Life Coaching Certification, is another tool for deeper understanding of yourself.
Many people may layer in things like CliftonStrengths, Predictive Index, EOS Crystalizer, Motivators, MBTI, Human Design, Enneagram, 16 Personalities, Color Code, or any other personality assessment to help them understand how to better navigate the world, work, and their relationships. To me, adding astrology to the ways you reflect and understand yourself is the same thing.
In my experience, working with a highly trained astrologer can give you deeply personal insights that some of these other assessments can’t provide because your natal chart and readings will be personalized to you. If you’d like an astrology private session I encourage you to book with my teacher Syl Carson, details here.
Now, here’s the deal. I have no issues with any or all of these types of assessments. For me, they have always been another peak into how I see myself, how others may see me, and how I can use those things to support my growth and development.
Just like any tool, you can use these assessments to label and constrain yourself or to inform and expand your perspectives. I recommend using assessments or other modalities as tools in your toolbox. Things you can pull from when you are ready or need to sit with the insights they provide.
I never expect anyone to use a tool that doesn’t work or resonate with them or their personal beliefs. I also do not agree with using astrology as a way to not make your own decisions about your life or as a replacement for therapy or professional medical advice. If you are curious and want to learn more, these videos can give you more insight into astrology in the way that I am studying it.
